S&S Processing offers a wide variety of atheletic field products that offer desired colors,
water absorbencies, textures, and firmnesses.

S&S Fielder's Choice - The staple Athletic Field mix for all infield construction and maintenance, Fielder's Choice is S&S's flagship product for outstanding performance on both baseball infields and softball infields. We continue to extract this Infield mix from our extensive reserves, where it has been blended by the forces of nature to a 60% Sand and 40% Clay mixture. S&S dries, pulverizes, screens, and delivers Fielder's Choice throughout the Tri-state area. This Athletic Field mix is soft to promote safe play, yet compacts well to provide a firm surface and fast base paths.

Pro's Choice - S&S Processing distributes this specially processed Calcined clay that absorbs it's own weight in water and is an effective soil conditioner and moisture control amendment. Releasing moisture slowly, Pro's Choice reduces dust. It is available in a powdery form (Rapid Dry) for quick fix situations, or in larger granule sizes (Soilmaster & Select) that are typically blended into the top two to four inches of the infield soil.

Diamond Pro - S&S Processing distributes this vitrified clay product, which is characterized by a dense granule, and absorbs about 60% of it’s weight in water. It is typically used as a top dressing to cap the field, thereby reducing erosion and giving the field a rich red color.

We supply heavy duty mound clay in bag or brick form, several warning track aggregates, and a
broad line of field maintenance tools.
